T-shirt for babies 86/92 made of light upcycled wool in blue

This T-shirt in 86/92 was once a damaged wool sweater (100% wool).
Through upcycling, Jawoll Baby saves the valuable material wool and gives it a second life as sustainable baby and children's clothing.

For the T-shirts, I use particularly light wool when upcycling, which is soft and smooth and even has a slightly cooling effect.
In addition, wool has the highest sun protection among natural textiles.

Jawoll Baby is a gender-neutral label – the shirt is also designed to be unisex.
This means that girls and boys alike can wear what they love. Each piece is unique.

The simple cut means it can be combined in many different ways.
It has a loose fit and offers plenty of room to move.
The T-shirt has a drop-shoulder cut. This not only makes it look casual, but also means it grows with the shoulders and arms for a particularly long time.

Wool is a wonderful natural material: it regulates temperature, is breathable, dirt-repellent and odor-resistant. These are all properties that make wool an ideal material for baby and children's clothing.
However, breeding sheep for wool production is harmful to the climate and involves animal suffering.
A sustainable alternative is the use of existing resources: Jawoll Baby gives damaged wool sweaters a new life and makes the valuable resource wool usable again.
The orange thread from Jawoll Baby: Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's usage cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool and thus enable recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in the household waste.
