Clothes are supposed to do one thing above all: withstand all the adventures of everyday life.
But it doesn't take long for trousers to get damaged at the knee or jumpers to get damaged at the elbow. With patches, you can protect your favorite pieces, save thin spots or repair holes.
It's not only practical, it's also sustainable, as it prolongs the life of your clothes.
This guide covers all common textiles and is suitable for baby, children and adult clothing.
In this guide in English for instant digital download you can expect:
- Material selection: Which patches go with which garments?
- How To: How do I apply the patches to the garment?
- Step by Step: Instructions for the templates
- Templates for patches in different shapes (circle, oval, ellipse, cloud, heart) and sizes to print out yourself.
The guide is 9 pages (A4 format) long. Measurements are in centimeters.
Please note: To work with the guide you will need sewing accessories depending on the type of patch you are applying. (eg scissors, needle & thread, fabric glue).
You will need a printer to print out the patch templates.

Recycling - the orange thread
Recycling - the orange thread
Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's life cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool, thus enabling better recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in household waste.
