Grow-along trousers 86/92 made from upcycled wool in pale pink

These children's trousers in size 86/92 were once a sweater.
Jawoll Baby rescues damaged wool sweaters and gives them a second life as baby and children's clothing.
The color is a light pink.
The soft 100% wool material is ideal for wearing all year round. It is pleasant on the skin and smooth.

Since the material is stretchy and the cut is rather loose, the pants can be worn for a long time.

By folding over the leg cuffs, the trousers grow with the child.
There is enough space in the pants for all types of diapers.
There is a small hole hidden in the waistband into which you can insert an elastic band if necessary. (I would recommend this for these pants as the waistband is very stretchy.)

Wool is a wonderful natural material: it regulates temperature, is breathable, dirt-repellent and odor-resistant. These are all properties that make wool an ideal material for baby and children's clothing.
However, breeding sheep for wool production is harmful to the climate and involves animal suffering.
A sustainable alternative is the use of existing resources: Jawoll Baby gives damaged wool sweaters a new life and makes the valuable resource wool usable again.

The orange thread from Jawoll Baby: Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's usage cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool and thus enable recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in the household waste.
For any small holes that may appear during use, I will include a piece of the original fabric with your order. This way you can repair your favorite piece and use it for a long time.
